The schedule choices were great with fair pricing. Timely arrivals and clean bus. I saw a YEG airport drop off/pickup. One person came on during my trip. I thought that might be a great option as a form of competitive local shuttle service. When I got home I tried to look it up but the warning was the travel was coming from same location. I was hopeful but it makes sense that seats would be reserved for longer distance travel. Thank you for offering an alternative travel choice!!

Hi! This was my 1st trip with Rider. The only issue was time. The operator was good & the bus was clean but the passengers were very late showing up & we were 25 minutes late leaving Edmonton. We were able to make up some time & arrived almost on time😀 I didn’t know that we were arriving behind Peter Pond Mall. My ride was in the parking lot on the other side. I walked around to meet him. The lack of clarity of where the office is to check in needs to be addressed with signs showing the way. And I although I am happy that no one was left behind,, people should have known where & when to arrive. We would have left many behind if we pulled out on schedule. And being so late, the next bus had passengers trying to figure out the correct bus for their trip. Signs would be helpful for everyone using this service for the 1st time. Booking was easy. And the price was good too. I would ride again.

Bus is usually late, two times in a row now. This creates a huge inconvenience as I have already arranged a shuttle pick up based on the bus’s normal schedule. Also, the Fort McMurray shell drop off location is not ideal. Quality inn was much better and safer.

The driver arrived early, being helpful, friendly. The driver used microphone to announce which stop is coming up and what time expected, how long it will wait at the stop , so we know when to come back in case we get off the bus. This also helped passengers to hear or wake them up if they fall asleep so they miss their stops . The trip was on time and smoothly, bus is clean and comfortable. I’m very please with Rider Express, the drivers and the team. Highly recommended Rider Express.

The experience is excellent, the bus center even called me 10 mins ahead of the schedule to be sure I’m coming . Friendly staff , the bus driver is very nice and friendly , helpful. She is also a good driver and arrives ahead of schedule . Bus is clean , smell fresh inside, well equipped with reclining and comfy chair, also have a foot rest , lots of room on overhead for storage. I would definitely use Rider Express again. Highly recommended.

Th only issue i have, is the absolutely disregard to allowing the 1rst row both sides is occupied by junk from the drivers. Its not just one driver its all of them. There is no reason why we cant occupy those seats. I have a knee injury and cant sit in those designated seats. its jackets, their book bag, books and paper work! Do they not have a space maybe in the above compartments where these items should go! Why are they any different in storing their belongs than us! We have too!!!!! Driver and host were very pleasant. Bus was warm and comfortable. The meeting place at YYC was a little unclear as we could see in the real time location that the bus had stopped before the terminal pick up zones. We weren’t sure we were in the right spot between doors 4&5 of the arrivals level. It was 6:20pm and the bus hadn’t arrived yet, so we started walking towards the entrance to the terminal. Then we saw the bus pulling in where the city buses and shuttles park, about 30m from the designated pick up spot. But all was well. We boarded across the street where the bus had stopped between the pillars. I would ride with Rider Express again.

Got there in one piece but overall experience (esp. after taking other companies such as Red Arrow, Ebus and ColdShot long ago) showed me that Rider's express isn't as efficient and well run as the other companies. For example, the layout of the pickup stops from Edmonton makes no sense when the bus is going Northbound; travelling down south so far to go back up north delays travel time overall and is not something I have seen other companies do when travelling North. Additionally, staff lacked professionalism overall when communicating with passengers and had an overall attitude; did not seem like people wth approachability as seen with other companies. Otherwise, the trip was smooth and drop off was smooth as well; no complaints there.

I have been using a competitor’s bus service last few times between calgary and edmonton. Their buses are full and suggestions for improvements are: - better description of drop off/pick up location. I did not know where in the Southland LRT station the bus would park. If cold outside need place to keep warm. - Bus should be there 5-10min before and it arrived right at 4:30pm departure time - Bus passenger management- driver should announce rules like wear seat belts, do not put on music videos or games without headphones. No talking or on phone more than 5 min. Keep bus tidy and clean and throw away garbage in bin -
