A glitch when booking online, sent email and received a very prompt response (only 30 min plus it was outside of ‘typical’ office hours) with glitch fixed, and new ticket with correct information in my inbox!! Bravo!!!! I chose Rider Express as I find the buses clean, seats comfortable AND always a very efficient loading, on time departure and arrival. Staff is friendly and very clear on expectations on the bus as to ensure everyone’s experience is good. There is a reason I continue to take Rider Express vs another line or driving to/from Calgary. I have also recommended to others, and they had the same experience too!

Unfortunately, this was the least pleasant of the three legs of my trip. I was seated close to the back of the bus, so I could be nearer to the washroom. This ended up being a total mistake. A young Mother, with her elderly Mother accompanying her for support, had purchased a ticket for her young son. He was between two and three years old, and he was not well behaved. For most of the bus trip on this leg, the young boy was crying or whining. I attempted to use my ear buds and music to drown out the noise, but to no avail. I wish I had have chosen to be seated near the front of the bus, to be perfectly honest. Furthermore, the washroom had not been cleaned before I had a chance to use it. What was left for me to discover underneath the toilet lid was totally disgusting. I know that Rider Express is capable of providing a better experience than the one I had from Edmonton to Calgary.

My drivers were courteous and delivered us on time to our destination! On both of my trips, the drivers mentioned the seat belts, length of telephone conversations and the sound of electronic devices. That is really appreciated as I have been the victim of having to listen to someone talking on a phone for 3 hours! People need to be reminded every time! The only negative comment I have is that as a senior I feel unsafe at the downtown Edmonton depot. Especially, when I once came on a later bus and was waiting for a ride in the dark. I wish there was a building that we could enter to wait for bus departures and upon our return. Thank you for the great service. Nancy

Driver was great, he was friendly and welcoming. The bus was clean and comfortable. The trip was smooth. We departed on time and arrived when the driver told us we would. That said, the actual arrival time was 20 later than the advertised time (12:25 at Calgary Westbrook Mall, not 12:05), not a big deal for us, the driver announced right from the start that we'd be arriving about 12:25, so we knew what to expect. But if the driver can nail the time so accurately, the website should have it right too. Otherwise, everything was spot on.

I have been using the services of Rider Express ever since, and this is my first time to provide a feedback. I wish that at every stop, the driver will make sure that empty seats are CLEARLY empty so that the onboarding passengers would not look like foolish looking for seats. Especially if it is a full bus. This is why I always opt to board at the first stop in Calgary (at Marlborough Mall) so there would still be a lot of empty seats. However, it would be nice to be able to board at the last stop (at Panatella) so that I do not have to spend an hour of just sitting in the bus while still in Calgary. Thank you!

My bus experience was good going from Edmonton to Calgary and back the only thing I would say your company should consider is actually making and bus station at the Southgate stop in Edmonton, currently waiting outside with little to no shelter, especially in the cold is not favourable! That would be my only suggestion otherwise all was well!

This was my first time taking the bus, and there was a 40-minute delay. The only redeeming factor was a manager-looking individual named Amin, from Turkey, who demonstrated exceptional hospitality by allowing passengers to wait inside, with a place to sit, use the washroom, with access to Wi-Fi, despite the office already past closing hours. It was reassuring to see him make calls every few minutes to try and get things back on schedule. Without Amin’s genuine effort to provide a positive customer experience, this would have been a 1 out of 5 stars.

I frequently use your bus service, and every time I encounter Adrian, one of your drivers, I feel completely safe on the bus. He is always kind and has excellent driving skills. Last week, I booked a bus from Edmonton to Calgary, but that morning, there was unexpected heavy traffic, and I arrived at the bus stop about three minutes late. Knowing how punctual your buses are, I was sure I had missed it. However, Adrian noticed that many passengers hadn't arrived yet and made the thoughtful decision to wait an additional five minutes. Thanks to his consideration, I was able to catch the bus, and I found his actions to be very considerate. On that same trip, someone accidentally spilled coffee, and the entire bus floor became messy, with a noticeable smell. Without showing any sign of frustration, Adrian borrowed a mop from a nearby convenience store at the Red Deer stop and cleaned up the spill right away. He is a hardworking individual, and his kindness never fails to brighten my day. Your buses are affordable and convenient, so I plan to continue using your service regularly. And I just wanted to let you know that Adrian is one of the reasons I enjoy traveling with your company.

Awesome experience as usual! This ride would’ve been more awesome if downtown Edmonton to downtown Calgary would be faster, maybe skip Westbrook mall? Especially when not much people drop off there. Bus was on time and the Drivers were very helpful. However, more seats should be assigned for the elderly and disabled..the 2 seats that are assigned were used for the Drivers paperwork & belongings and the other was for the additional Driver... upon entering the bus, the main Driver seemed disappointed that I was sitting in the one seat opposite him and said that I should have waited and he would have made another passenger move...but with limited mobility I felt that I couldn't wait. I offered to give up the seat but the 2 Drivers were very accommodating and I did get one. But if more were reserved there wouldn't have been a curfuffle ...Just happy that Rider Express is in business and providing us all to travel...

Bus was smaller than interprovincial coach. On my Calgary to Red Deer leg, as I am 5’ 11” and 75 years old so could not sit in the bus straight. I had to turn my legs into the seat next to me. On the Red Deer to Calgary run, the bus was over half full. Unlike the interprovincial, the driver did not make an announcement suggesting passengers make room for new passengers. It became awkward to ask people to make room as most singles sat on the aisle to discourage new passengers from sitting next to them. On both my trips to and from Salmon Arm, neither of these challenges were presented as coach was spacious and driverwmade the announcement.

This driver was absolutely phenomenal! We ran into a minor delay of maybe 25-30 minutes, and he got in the speaker to keep us informed on what was happening and his wonderful personality and attitude kept everyone in a very joyous and lighthearted spirit. He had us laughing and entertained. Just an absolutely fantastic driver, and when someone represents a company and is basically the face of the company to us passengers, that is a superb thing. This is an employee who absolutely deserves the recognition for how great he is.
