I totally love that the bus just had one stop in Kingston and then went directly to Ottawa. Additionally, we had some minutes of break in that stop to go for a walk or something to eat. I gave them 4.5 because even though I bought 2 tickets at once, we couldn’t sit together, other than that the service is pretty good

Bus was great and drive was easy. Drive was approximately 30 minutes late arriving. Timing should better account for rush hour. Everyone who got on at previous stops had claimed the seats beside them with bags and no one offered to move their bag when three of us got on. We pretty much had to beg for seats and the person beside me looked at me like they were doing me a favour. So it was a long awkward ride. It is more of a people problem than a bus problem but it would have been nice to have more support in securing a seat or have a rule to have your bags up top or below your seat. Unless this is solved, I will unlikely recommend or take this bus knowing that people feel entitled to two seats even though they paid for one.

Our departure from Scarborough Town Center was scheduled for 09.00 a.m., but because of the morning traffic, we left Town Center at 09.30. The situation was properly managed, and the driver, Karaman, welcomed all of us prior to boarding. We arrived in Ottawa at St-Laurent Shopping Center on time. I travel from Ottawa to Scarborough almost every 2-3 weeks, and it is always a pleasure to be driven by Mr. Karaman. He is the best of your drivers, and I have never regretted moving from Flixbus to Rider Express. Also, I'd like to mention my appreciation of your driver, Mr. Igor. Great experience. So happy to have found this option as a student in Toronto, this makes getting home so much easier. Only thing that could make this even better would be an option for a stop in Brockville in the future, bus goes right by Brockville on its way to Ottawa. I currently take the bus to Kingston and then need a ride from Kingston to Brockville, which is better than trying to find a ride pick me up in Toronto but would love to see the bus add a quick stop in Brockville, there is a big parking lot right off the highway exit at the Food Basics, hope this could be considered in the future, I just started 4 years of schooling so will be using this service a lot :) Thanks

Your pickup location in Scarborough was different, as shown in the picture. In the description, it is mentioned that the Scarborough Town Center, Ground level parking stop is in front of entrance #7, next to STO Orthodontists. These 2 locations are different. There are no orthodontists near gate 7 of STC. They moved to other places, so I was moving from there to STC gate 7 for around 15 minutes to finalize which is the pickup location for your bus. So, I request that you update that on your website and ticket description. Moreover, you can put a sign board for the rider express pickup location in front of gate 7 of STC so the newcomers get to know about the pickup location.

Everything was great. However, I think the bathroom door was not locking. It could still be opened (slide open) when the button was in the locked position. It happened to me and I also tested it and it appeared to keep sliding open. Also, the bathroom looked clean but when I raised the toilet seat it looked like that area may have been forgotten.

Here's a revised version with minor corrections: I recently took Rider Express from Toronto to Ottawa. The ticket price of $59.99 was reasonable, and the travel time of 5 hours and 10 minutes was decent. The bus arrived and departed on time, which I appreciated. The bus was clean, and the driver was professional. Overall, it was a good experience for the price. However, it would be even better if the bus offered Wi-Fi or extra legroom, even if it meant a slightly higher price.

I am happy to use your service fairly frequently. The driver is always polite, happy and helpful I would mention that today the WiFi service was functioning well, which was great. On my past trips often the WiFi does not work at all and the a/c plugs don't either. Not sure why that is, but it can be a bit frustrating. The ride was great, and my baggage was handled without issues, including my bicycle. Wifi worked well, AC was pleasant, and bus was clean. One issue: the window seats recliner levers are very well hidden. Until the driver mentioned people leaving should put their seats upright, many if ya assumed they didn't receive at all. Perhaps this feature should be mentioned at the start of the journey.

I had an amazing bus ride from Toronto to Ottawa. The bus was punctual, and the break in Kingston was perfectly timed. The driver was clearly very experienced, making it the smoothest bus ride I’ve ever had. However, one thing that could be improved is the pickup location. The departure point was listed as Scarborough Town Centre, which is quite large. Providing an exact location or a map pin would have made it much easier to find. Thank you!

My bus from Kingston to Ottawa was over half an hour late arriving, and while bus tracking was available, it was not updated for 3 hours, so I still had no idea when it would be arriving. Once it arrived, it then spent another half hour sitting in the parking lot, resetting the power and people getting food. While I appreciate that people were able to get food, I wish that was reflected in the listed departure time, as the bus didn't leave until over an hour past past the intended departure time. The bus itself was comfortable and spacious, the delays with no communication deprecated the experience

The bus was clean, the driving was good, and the air conditioning was good and my luggage was not lost or damaged. My main concern is the fact that the bus departed late - while the screen at union station showed the new departure time, it would be great to get a text message notification, and also ensure that the announcer at the Union station provides timely updates for the Rider express bus. - It reached Ottawa west around 12.40 instead of 11 pm. This is very late given that it does not stop at many stations on the way.

Bus, ride etc.were great. In Toronto our bags are loaded by someone. Why would your operator expect us - passengers to take bags off the luggage compartment. Your competitions are courteous to take them out for us. The bus was full. In Kingston, we were given a lousy 10 minute break to have a bathroom break + lunch and beverage. You do not even supply drinking water !!

I had issues with booking my ticket. I put in all the payment info but didn't receive any confirmations. When I called to follow up, the on hold process was confusing. While waiting to speak to someone, there was ringing like it was going through to an agent but then it'd go back to hold. This happened a few times and I wasn't sure if the calling centre was open or if it was glitching and if I should stay on the line. As I was booking for same day travel I decided to stay on the line. More concise explanations while on hold would be helpful such as the call centre operating hours as I was calling from Ontario to Calgary and there are time zone differences, and knowing that I was in queue for an agent. Unfortunately I wasn't able to complete my payment that night due to the online glitch and after waiting 40 minutes on hold the following morning, my fare went up 20 dollars. The agent I dealt with was polite and helpful. And the driver was a safe driver.

Unfortunately I believe I found a bed bug in the window sill crack of where I was sitting. I was 5/6 row in on the right. Took the Late night bus going from Whitby to Kingston. Bus was 10 minutes late, so I was getting pretty nervous that I was going to miss work the next day. Would appreciate a bus tracker or something on the website so I don't have to sit there wondering if I am screwed or not. Bus was quiet, and drive to Kingston was smooth, took around the estimated time. Seats were nice and had plenty of pace for a tall guy. There was an annoying tone going off every once in while. I don't know what it was, but it got pretty irritating hearing it over and over.

I really like the bus driver. I have taken a ride with him before. He is really nice and friendly. I appreciate someone with a good heart. He greeted me by name as I got on the bus I guess because I was last in line and there was only one person left on the list. It made me smile. Please make sure he gets this message. I am not sure if he was wearing a name tag. That might be a good idea. God bless. PS 1. I also really like the new buses (much better than greyhound). It is still too small for my extra long legs, but it was okay. At least there were foot rests and I had two seats. I also appreciate that it was way less expensive than greyhound (I guess because you don't need a bus station since you can sell tickets over the internet in modern times. PS 2: It would be great if I could just provide a standard picture ID instead of a ticket. I don't use a cell phone due to EMF sensitivity, and sometimes my printer does not work. I'm not sure if that is possible. I haven't had an issue printing tickets so far, but sometimes I haven't been able to print other things. Food for thought....better for the environment too.

It is confusing, too many steps; I ended up buying one wrong ticket by accident and had to pay to exchange it. Was fine but bus should stop for a 10 or 15 minute break. Was traveling from Peterborough to ottawa and there was no break. Every time I have taken a bus, there has been a break

We were very pleased with our experience on Rider Express Oct. 1, 2023 to Ottawa. Bus was comfortable and clean. Would recommend it to others. We were wondering if you could have a sign indicating your Stop area . The shopping center may not allow this but we feel it would be of great help to travellers. We, along with a few others were asking if it was correct location as bus a little late so caused some concern.
