Toronto to London Western University

I took Intercity bus from London to Toronto Union Station, and then RidersExpress for the first time from Toronto Union Station back to London. Below are my observations and comparisons: RidersExpress (Toronto to London) • The bus arrived about 8 minutes early and did not leave until the exact departure time. • The driver had a clean uniform and personally handled all the luggage, organizing them by passenger stop. • When I got on the bus, it was clean. The charging ports were working, the windshield and side windows were clean (though could have been a bit cleaner). • The ride was smooth, like a new bus, with no random radio or alarm noises. • The seats reclined well and were comfortable for sleeping. • Each seat had a plastic bag, the footrest worked, and the carry-on area was clean and quiet without any loose rattling sounds. • The driver was very professional and cautious on the road. • The Wi-Fi worked great and connected easily. • I did not get a chance to check the washroom. • While waiting at Union Station, I called RidersExpress three times to confirm I was at the right stop, but no one answered. Intercity (London to Toronto) • The bus was about 10 minutes late. I had to call to make sure it was coming, and they answered saying it would be a bit delayed. • The luggage loading was very disorganized since everyone was just throwing their bags in. • The driver’s uniform was not clean. • The windshield was very dirty with mosquito marks, and the side windows were only somewhat clean. • The Wi-Fi was slow. • One of the worst parts was the constant beeping or alarm sound from the back of the bus that went off every 10 minutes, and the driver did nothing about it. • The overhead carry-on area and some windows were rattling a lot, which made it hard to read or talk on the phone. • The washroom was not too bad but could have been cleaner. • The charging port worked but kept disconnecting every couple of minutes. • There were no plastic seat bags, and overall the bus was not very clean.

Bus was clean. Driver was friendly. While yes the bus was running late -- we realize that is not on the driver -- it's on the traffic. The bus towards our destination still managed to make up some time, while we also felt very safe. Very happy with the service. I had no major issues on the trip, though I will point out that the scheduled arrival time seems to underestimate the actual travel time (since there were no traffic issues and we still arrived 15min after the scheduled arrival time). We were also dropped off at a different location than the website stated.

The driver was so warm and super friendly from the minute he got off the bus to greet us. The bus was nice and the driver was amazing. The only issue I had the bus stop was very confusing. There should be a sign, all of us were unsure and kept driving up and down the driveway.

It was another trip with RE and I'm pleased to say it was a smoother one than on Fri, June 20. I like that you're using the VIA station in downtown London for pick up and drop offs. It was good to have the building to wait inside for the bus and my ride on the way home. It's too bad there's not a similar location that could be used in Mississauga..... The bus left on time with very few people on it. Very comfortable bus with air conditioning control above seat. Friendly driver. Since it was rush hour the traffic was heavy and the drive slow which is always a possibility on the 401. Altogether a good experience.

The RiderExpress bus was very comfortable and high end. Preferable to other shuttle bus companies I’ve tried. The customer service team also responded very promptly and helped me out by rebooking my ticket when I booked for the wrong day. 10/10 I recommend rider express. I recently traveled from Toronto to London and had a pleasant experience overall. The seats were comfortable, and the bus was clean, which made the journey quite enjoyable. We arrived in London right on time, which was a big plus. I particularly appreciated the Toronto pick-up location being inside the Union Station Bus Terminal, as it was convenient and easy to access. However, I wish the drop-off location in London was better. Being let off on Richmond Street felt a bit inconvenient and less safe compared to a designated terminal

The bus is comfortable and the drive was nice, uneventful. I gave a 4 because I almost missed the bus owing to poor bus and bus stop identification. The stop was not marked and the bus was black and red, not the usual blue and white rider colors that I was expecting. There was a small 'rider express' sign on the driver's side of the windshield. If you're going to repaint the bus, warn people by sending the bus' details eg plate number and/or picture. Definitely improve on stop marking. This is especially since a number of other buses could be using the same area.
