- Bus was in time (5 min early actually) - Washroom was the cleanest I have seen it so far and foam dispenser had foam! It would have been a 5 start. But this happened: - I was at the stop 15 minutes early as recommended, I checked the 'bus location and status' and there were no events, so I decided to walk across the street and shelter from the cold in the VIA rail building, thinking the bus was going to be late again. I then looked out in one point and I see a 'toundra de montreal' bus stopped where the rider express bus should stop. After a second or two of hesitation, I decided to make my way there and, yes, it was actually the rider express bus, but not really a rider express-branded one. There are two issues here: why not a rider express bus? and why did the 'bus location and status' feature was not working (and it never did because I checked in one point when we were already on the 401.)

I left a review some time ago with constructive criticism, so I tried to remember what I wrote last time. First, credit when credit is due: - The bus being late 5 minutes is fine to me. I would consider this being on time - York street was still close (on the 18th), so I checked the bus stop info. to see if it was the same spot. It was, but there also was an explanation about the road being closed. This tells riders you guys are aware of the road issue and give us reassurance that the bus stop info. is updated and correct. As a result, there were a lot of us on the right side of the road waiting for the bus where we were supposed to. Thank you for this! Now what can be done better: - I will maintain what I wrote about the "where is the bus" feature. Riders on bus stops are going to be checking on mobile. The map starts zoomed out. Please centre it between rider location and bus location. I know it is investment, but please consider having your own mobile app - I know it depends on demand, but I could use an earlier bus back to Kitchener - This is the hardest thing, I know. I had to use the washroom, again it was unsanitary in my opinion, but not as bad as the last time. However, what I can not let pass; the sanitizing foam dispenser was empty... This is bad. I did not have hand sanitizer with me (something I am going to start doing, my bad) so I had to continue the rest of the trip all the way home (2 GRT bus rides included) a little disgusted and very aware of not touching my face with my hand, try not to touch my clothes, etc. which is very challenging. Please look into this. 3/5 starts in my opinion. Had there been sanitizing foam, the rating would have been better that last time.

The bus was on time. It was delayed by almost 80 minutes. Apart from the delay of the bus, my experience with the bus services are good. The company should provide updates on the bus movements and its delays before it arrives as early as possible as I got the update just 5 minutes before departure and I had to wait on the bus station for almost 80 minutes in cold weather. If it had provided the updates early I should have come to departure station later.

Better communication on delays. Because the bus was so delayed arriving from Toronto the bus did the downtown London stop first and then Western for pick up and drop off. Had one relied solely on the live tracking map one would have missed the pick up because the assumption that the bus would drop off downtown, drop off and pick up at Western, and then pick up downtown again.

I have been taking this trip since January. This is what I have noticed: 1) The bus is usually late. At least, the emails notifying of delays do give riders some piece of mind 2) There is a lot of confusion about where the bus stops. I have had to clarify this to new fellow riders almost every single time. Those that book through Busbud, for example, do not seem to receive the PDF ticket with all the links - This particular time was very confusing to me because York St with Wellington St was closed and I had no idea where the bus would come from instead. Luckily I saw the bus coming from Richmond St and I started following it. The bus took York St regardless and it did a u-turn to get on the right side of the street. I saw people crossing the street from the other side to take the bus, so I was not the only who had not idea what was going on. This type of changes should be notified to your riders 3) About the Bus Status and Location: - Riders that book through Busbud do not seem to receive the PDF ticket with all the links, so they do not know this exists - It should default to being zoomed in to the bus current location and the next stop instead of all the way out. Most people using this feature are going to be on a bus stop on mobile, so having to zoom in every single time is annoying - It should refresh on an interval instead of having the rider to refresh the whole page, which makes us having to zoom in again (see previous point) 4) This is probably the hardest thing to get right, but I have to say it: the bus washroom has always been filthy and unsanitary. I am male and I can 'work around the issue', but female riders probably find the washroom impossible to use 5) I would appreciate a trip from London downtown to Kitchener earlier, but I reckon it depends on demand

I would suggest your london to kitchener route start at wilfrid laurier university and then go to london western university. more efficient path you can also stop at sportsworld station if need be. also there are road closures for elgin but you can go through sunset street near the elgin hall.

a great and affordable way to get to Toronto. The seats and air were clean (a separate bus from a different company i took had an odd odour in the bus). 2 things would make Rider express even better in my opinion 1. more time options (i don't know if there are less times because ridership doesn't warrant more times or if it's just the size of the company) 2. there was a "ding" that seemed to happen when going over bumps in the road.... please get rid of this other than that it was great

There was no Rider Express sign at Mississauga stop behind the Tim Hortons at 800 Bancroft. Dr. I found it very stressful not knowing if I'm at the right spot. Based on the picture from the website I was, but there were no other passengers to confirm it until the came from parked cars but only when the bus arrived. It turned out to be right, but I had 15 minutes of anxiety. Everything else about the round trip was very good. I would recommend this service and plan to use it again.
