Driver was courteous, went to great lengths to explain, rules, stops, options, assisted passengers with understanding. His copilot was equally at ease representing the company at making the ride as enjoyable as possible. The coach was clean, all features worked and climate control was excellent and well explained by the driver. 9 hrs into the trip a tire problem developed and the rear of the vehicle experienced significant vibration on corners but hey its a vehicle. We left all stops on time we arrived early what's to complain about? It's the passengers, only the homeless, foul smelling, miscreants of this world enjoy being around one another, so 10 hrs in close proximity to this segment of society is as off-putting as you can imagine.

Our son Anders takes the bus and we always feel confident that he will be well taken care of. The driver accommodated him in the front seat, and Anders updated us on his location on his trip. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the TRACKING system to work through the receipt, and that is the only reason I am giving it a 4 rather than a 5 star rating. The driver was very courteous and got his suitcase for him when he arrived in Revelstoke. I arrived YVR at 6.30 am and wanted to book the 7.15 am one, but I was told "call for reservation" and had to wait for the 2 pm one. I just can not find the number to call, maybe it is because I was first time to Vancouver and being abroad. However, I hope it would be possible to book a 7.15 am bus at 6.30 am online. Thank you.

Good Day, It was a rainy day, drivers were very helpful & polite in spite of getting soaked wet while loading & unloading luggages. Details such as break time, delays due to unforeseen circumstances, putting on the seat belt, cell phone to be on ear piece and if a person needs to answer a call, by all means go ahead but try to keep the conversation volume low as no one is interested to listen to your conversation were made known to all of us which was very good. Overall it was a good experience bus ride. Thank You & Keep Up The Good Work.

I have traveled with you four times now and I have to say last night was a terrible experience. The bus was late understandable they called me to tell me it would be 20 minutes late think in the end it was closer to 40. I understand things happen and I was more then pleasant with the driver when he arrived. My dad was even trying to home with him when he carried my bad over. He however was incredibly rude and unaccomodating. It was like his lateness was somehow my fault and he took it out on me. He grabbed my carry on which had medication and breakables on it as well as food and beverages in it. He told me I was not permitted to take it on the bus it was too full. I told him I needed to get some things out of it and instead he threw it in and closed the door and told me I could wait till Revelstoke. I often suffer from migraines(especially when travelling through the mountains) and motion sickness of which I needed the medication in the bag for. He didn't care. I asked him if I could sit in one of the front four seats as being able to see out a window helps both conditions. He told me no these seats were for him. By the time we reached Revelstoke I really didn't feel very good at all. He gave me my bag and again told me it would have to stay underneath but I could get some things out of it. I kept it with me as I didn't see the problem everyone else had bags. When I got my bag I explained to him again that I had needed medication to prevent these things and his only reply was well you can get it now. I tried to talk to him again about the front seat explaining it would be better for me and he again said nobody gets the front seat I keep it for myself. I would think that medical condition and handicap are what those seats are for not for the driver. Is this incorrect? Later on in the trip I believe a family of four got on the pretty much full bus. Took me a while to realize what was happening so I may be incorrect in this. Rather than allowing the family of four to sit together with children on the front seats he shuffled people on the bus to accommodate them. Something seems wrong about this. Can you please explain how this makes any sense? He did not give me tags for my bags when he put them on and when we arrived in Calgary two of us had the same bag. Not a big deal but we had to open it to make sure we had the right one. Had one of us grabbed the bag before he unloaded the rest not realizing there was two we would have got home with the wrong bag. It's not about being late, that happens. However a little bit of kindness, caring, understanding, and consideration for others goes a long way. This driver showed none of that. The positive of my trip came on the way there the prior Saturday. That driver has both times been happy friendly and accommodating! He even allowed 2 tourists to sit in the front seat to be able to enjoy The view. Can you please explain your policies in regards to my concerns and I also hope you'll speak to your driver about his attitude. I plan to make Rider Express a regular way to travel as my dad even though I'm a grown adult prefers I'm not driving on the highway alone. If this is going to be a regular situation I will have to find an alternative way. Suffering the headache and motion sickness through the trip was not pleasant and could have been easily avoided if your driver has a better attitude. Thank you

On the Vancouver- Calgary bus from Thursday August 22 2024 3:10pm departure/ overnighter. The bus driver who did the Vancouver to Kamloops portion of the trip, he was giving interesting information about the BC towns it was passing through & plus the driver reminded all passengers to wear their seat belts on the Rider Express bus for safety reasons. Well done to that driver ,as it was very full bus with up to 50+ passengers onboard all the way to Calgary from Vancouver. Only negative part, it was 1hour late & didn’t arrive until 7:30am Friday August 23rd at Calgary Westbrook. But it happens (sometimes).

This was a long and difficult trip as there were 2 delays. A car fire just out of Chase held us up almost an hour, which was not a big deal. Then a serious accident between Revelstoke and Golden closed the highway for ages. But I must commend our driver from Kamloops, Jason, who was outstanding. He was so calm and patient, kept a full busload of people informed, and even had us laughing at his jokes. He safely pulled off the highway to let the smokers feed their habit while we waited for hours. We got into Golden at 11pm, over 3 hours late. But nobody panicked or got angry; we knew the situation was out of our control. I can't say enough good things about Jason, please give him my regards.

Lovely views but could not spend too many long days doing this. Biggest issue, when you get off at the stops to use the facilities, the new people being picked up are allowed on straight away and sit where they like, caused a scene with one guest he had been in same seat for 5 hours since Vancouver, came back and a large women had took his seat despite him leaving items in the seat back, told him to get lost no seats reserved. There has to be a better system , we left personal coats on the seat for that reason. All in all not a bad experience for my wife and I and I would still recommend to friends for the experience.

I love the Rider Express bus through the Rockies. The driver Wayne takes over the confidence on the road to navigate a really challenging route for a relaxing tourism style ride. It's the best way I have found to travel. Truckers and bus drivers have the professional skills. I choose to look out the panoramic windows instead. A heavy clouds and mist made it a contemplative experience. Wayne was experienced in handling passenger expectations. Professional. I also rode Rider Express out to Kamloops from Calgary on a bus he drove. That journey was clearest skies and a beauty to sit comfortably and savour. I've set then a goal to do this same ride 100 times. 2 done. Check box. 98 to go. And I'm 66 years old. Aunt in Kamloops and my adult 2 kids in Calgary. Sign me up Rider! Recommend

I’m really thankful to Rider Express because they were so kind to us, especially our driver yesterday. We needed to get home quickly on Monday, and we saw an available schedule on their website. However, I accidentally booked the wrong day—I booked Tuesday when it should have been Monday at 2:50 AM. I was really stressed and anxious because I was traveling with a baby, and it was just the two of us in the early morning. Thankfully, the driver was very kind and allowed us to change the date. We also felt safe during the trip, and the bus arrived on time. I really appreciate their understanding of our situation. I will definitely recommend Rider Express for your future trips. Comfortable bus, wonderful to have Wi-Fi and AC outlet. The first driver Larry was wonderful. Friendly, helpful. The second driver, I don’t know his name, but he was the exact opposite. I felt most of the trip he was rude, wouldn’t answer simple questions, or just gave impatient answers that were not helpful. I hope other drivers in your fleet are like Larry. The second driver was defensive so don’t think he knows what a jerk he is or doesn’t care.

Great seats. Bus great, though really bad toilet smell at times and toilet seat was really hot. The first driver to Kamloops very good, helpful. However, from Kamloops to Banff the driver was rude, nasty - he reprimanded me like a mean bully teacher to a child in very harsh manner for asking a question and when I moved toward 1st row of seats to rest a cup (he monopolized 3 front rows with his stuff). When I asked about the drop off point he brushed off answer-I asked later about arrival time he gruffly dismissed my question. Very mean and unhelpful! Such an unpleasant unhelpful end to the journey. He should not be in contact with your customers, tbh.

This was the first time I’d taken Rider Express. I found it to be very comfortable and both of the drivers were very friendly. They stopped one time to allow people enough time to grab a bite to eat which was great to take that break. Because of an accident the bus had to let me off at the town before my stop but would arrange another way to get me there. I had friends that picked me up but when I saw the driver at the stop he asked if my ride was coming. That meant a lot. I will use this service again. Thank you.

As always, the hardest part of the trip is being at the right place to get on the bus. The drivers were both excellent. Both announced ahead of time for next stop, whether long enough to stretch legs, smokers were happy and others could use amenities provided. Trip was non-eventful, the way it should be, roads were rough, also to be expected. Rest stops were able to carry the load of the passengers going in for food and/or restrooms All In all, was exactly what I expected

The bus driver, Steve, was fantastic. He reminded us of our safety and had a good sense of humour. Steve: 10/10 Plenty of stops to stretch your legs, go to the restroom & pick up snacks. A toilet is also on the bus along with charging ports and wifi although the signal was very weak and constantly dropped out. Comfort wise: 8/10

The first bus driver could have shown a bit better service. He did not welcome or brief the passengers at the start of the ride. When the bus stopped for a 10 min break, he told passengers not to go looking for food cuz 'we don't have time for that'. That did not sound good and could have been said better or not said at all. Just let passengers know they need to be on by 10:10am. When I asked about the Wifi, he responded, 'did you check'? I said yes. He said the there's no Wifi. I felt foolish for asking. His response could have been better, maybe, " no nam, there is no Wifi, or we are having challenges with or service today". I wonder if I wrre a white passenger if his response would have been same. The Wifi did come one later in the trip, then off again at some points. The bathroom door snapped shut during the trip and would not open. That means I was in discomfort for 1 1/2 hours till I got to Banff unable to use the bathroom. The second bush driver did a good job with breifing passengers on the various stops, what to expect and time alloted. Seats neef to be cleaned.

The drivers were good with excellent service and attitude. However, it is unacceptable that on a 12-hour trip, there is no electricity to charge cell phones or any device, and Wi-Fi, when this service is offered when selling tickets. And even more so considering that there are accidents on the road that delay arrivals, as happened on this trip that lasted more than 14 hours.

I just returned from a trip to Armstrong and back to Langley. It was my first time using Riders Express, and I really did not know what to expect, but it was less expensive than E Bus, so I decided to give it a try. I was thoroughly satisfied and impressed with it. The drivers were professional, safe, and pleasant. One driver I would like to single out was Lynn on the Salmon Arm to Kelowna run. She had the needs of her customers foremost, and was helpful, friendly and informative, while still doing a superb job of driving. I will definitely use Riders Express in the future.
