I really have no complaints. Observation though: Some drivers let us know his name, where the stops will be and how long, in advance, Others don’t say a word. Like it would have been nice when we were getting in early so we could let people know to come early to pick us up so we didn’t stand outside waiting in -21c weather. It was just stop and drop. But not a big deal in this case. Thank you I appreciate the fact I could go by bus and it was comfortable.

Overall this is a nice option to have, but do not let people off to smoke. It’s slows down our trip a lot. It shouldn’t even be an option… if you get off the bus, you’re off the bus. There were also multiple hitting weed vape pen in the back and in the bathroom. I don’t know how you would police this, but something should be done about it.

I rely on t to his service for winter travel to Regina. The late night arrival into Regina is a real concern. Overall service is very good but the delays that happen when confirming passenger list seems to have increased when trying to leave Saskatoon downtown.

Drivers were competent and friendly. Waiting room in Saskatoon was clean as was the bathroom. Good to see driver assistants this year. Last January I did the same trip, there were no driver assistants and I had to take my own luggage off the bus in Edmonton. Only problem this trip was the driver gave me the address of Fountain Tire as the drop-off, not the Coast Hotel across the street, so the taxi picking me up did not know where to stop. Thank you for this service!

The bus broke down several times and was driving at a snail's pace. We had to wait a long time for another bus to transfer us. We should have arrived at 6:20pm ans it is now 8:50pm and I am still on the bus. I understand that incidents happen, but some form of compensation should be provided for the inconvenience experienced by the customers.

It practically adds an hour to the trip, by the time the bus has stopped at Southgate and Sherwood Park. that being said, I Really Appreciate the Service that Rider Express provides. This was a wonderful option for travel. They were quick, efficient, and provided great services such as power, wifi, and clean facilities. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the service was fairly priced. The only thing that could be improved or would be important for riders to be aware of is that the stops where passengers can disembark are not around many food options--it is primarily a convenience store or gas station--so pack your own snacks!

The drivers were really friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed taking the trip with rider express but there was one issue. The washroom on the bus had a pungent chemical smell that burned my throat and nose and almost made me pass out. The smell carried on me to my seat and caused me to dry heave. I've taken a few rides in the bus and have never smelled that before.

The travel and scheduling were great! However, the Saskatoon terminal building is too small and people were crowding in to register. At Southgate we were dropped off on a crowded street in the snow among a line of buses. There is no place for pickup vehicles to stop and park.

The ride was nice but very long. There should be a direct bus to Calgary from Regina. All drivers should be making the same rule announcements. When the bus driver is early for a transfer location we should not be expected to wait on the side of the street for a half hour before the transfer bus arrives. Either the bus should wait with passengers on the bus or have them wait inside the building at the new Edmonton South Center location. Not very safe to leave us waiting on the side of the street.

The noise in the front section of the bus was very loud. The wind-sound appeared to be coming from the door/ window area. Issues with window sealing or door not functioning/closing properly. Kenaston to Edmonton South

Pros: staff was competent and friendly, arrivals and departures were basically on time. Bus was clean. Ticket price was good and easy to buy online. The driver drove professionally. Cons: Seating is *very* cramped and seats are too short to support thighs, even though I'm not a big guy. Larger people looked obviously uncomfortable. Seats are too close together and more claustrophobic than even a budget airline! I expected a bit of space compared to economy class and was really disappointed by how many people you're trying to cram in. Please stop being so cheap! Seats have a large bare steel frame added to the back that would break my lower legs in a crash and took up a lot of the little leg room that was available. No overhead bins, no USB outlets (but appreciated the AC outlets) No signboard in the bus to confirm bus number, destination and stops. Washroom lighting was extremely dim and door lock was hard to find, although it was fairly clean and had tissue. The ride was a bit rough and the bus must have had a worn out transmission, it made a loud keening, whirring noise the whole way there - needs maintenance. I know it's not an airline, but my memories of STC were much, much better than this experience. A bus ride will be my last resort after Via and Westjet. Thank you.

The ride was comfortable, though I think it would be helpful to have a small fold-down table, built into the back of the seat in front of you, as they do on airlines. I sent an email about this yesterday...their reply suggested that having such a table would reduce the amount of legroom. I really don't see how it would be an imposition, as it would fold up and out of the way, when not in use. It would certainly be helpful to have someplace to rest a drink, or to place personal items, such as a cellphone.

Bus departed on time, drivers were friendly and drove cautiously and to the conditions. I felt safe. However! This bus was SO rattly. I have never been on a bus like this before. On a long trip like this, I would really have hoped to nap or relax a little, but that was really hard. Also would appreciate longer breaks where we can grab food - on any 7.5 hr plane ride you would be able to at least purchase food.

I appreciated the skilled drivers and the newer seats. Overall quite clean. Please be aware of who the driver is addressing when saying “no cannabis or liquor use while travelling” My driver seemed to be targeting his indigenous travellers. Be mindful and sensitive when giving these warnings please. I will travel with rider express again and would recommend for anyone needing to take a bus.

I travelled to Saskatoon and returned via Rider Express. Both trips were good, the drivers were helpful and courteous and the ride was comfortable. The place we stopped in Lloydminster was dirty and the washroom was falling apart. The area in Vermilion is excellent, stores and facilities are clean and in good repair. It would be great if the long break could be in Vermilion.

This is my first time using Rider Express, and I can honestly say I was quite impressed with the first leg of my trip. I had never been to Edmonton, or Northern Alberta before, so the bus ride was a real treat. The Drivers were friendly, informative and helpful. They tried there best to make sure no one missed their destination. It certainly made me feel secure that I would make my destination when the drivers made it clear what the process for being dropped off and picked up was. Kudos to them. Bus was early getting to Edmonton south so we had to stand outside waiting for the connector bus to Calgary even tho the bus also had to wait to pass off parcels. Why not let people wait on the bus? Why is there only one run thru Vermilion when there used to be 4 or 5. A morning bus would give people some choice.

Hello I rode bus #26 on Sept 17th from Edmonton to Saskatoon and rode back on the same bus on the 20th. The drivers were all excellent - Mr. Moustapha and the 2nd driver (sorry - didn't catch his name) on the first trip, plus Paul and Mr. Moustapha on the way back. They were attentive, respectful and great drivers! My complaint is around the seats - the cushioning is very flattened, making sitting for such a long ride extremely painful on the glutes and lower back AND many of the footrests are gone. Fix those issues and you're golden!!

I really should have waited to leave a review at the end of my journey home tonight- I left a review of the first leg. But I just want to say the driver (sept 15, Saskatoon-Regina) was great with a passenger disembarking in chamberlain, he made sure she was safe and waited an extra minute for her husband to pick her and the huge amount of luggage up. It was dark and empty at that roadside stop so I’m sure she was thankful and felt secure. Your team in my entire roundtrip were simply amazing! With the way airlines are these days I would definitely 💯 prefer riding with your company again!

It would also be helpful for the driver to remind people that they pay for one seat and should not block the second seat.

The only challenge we had was finding an empty seat when we got on the bus in Vegreville. We went up and down the aisle several times looking for one. People were not willing to say if they had an empty seat next to them. Eventually we got seats, but were unable to sit together. That part of the experience was frustrating. I very much enjoy traveling with Rider Express and find all employees from depot to drivers to be very cordial and helpful. I do, however, have what I consider a valid and very serious complaint. I am disabled and walk with a cane. The bottom step when entering or exiting the bus is much too high. Although the bus driver helps me get on and off, I think just putting a stool on the pavement after the last step would help to eliminate falls. Actually, someone did fall today although I don't know the extent of his injury. I also saw someone else struggle with a cane and the bottom step and passengers from the bus grabbed her before she fell. Please take this complaint seriously as it could have a very serious outcome,especially when something so simple as a stool would help to fix the issue. Thank you.

Drivers were good and no issue. The dude in Saskatoon loading luggage on the bus condescending and ignorant which I found unnecessary. He asked where I was going and I said Edmonton by mistake instead of Sherwood Park which is technically a suburb of Edmonton. The bus was pretty full too, would be good if they had 2 leaving per day which would free up the bus of being a bit congested. Other than those 2 points, overall it was good. Bus congestion was nothing and not to be taken in a negative way, we’ll say it’s a suggestion or input! Just that dude in his 50’s I’d guess around age didn’t need to be a dick loading on luggage. He looked miserable too like he didn’t enjoy his job. Again, I’ll give 4.5 stars which is very good! Drivers were good, that’s what counts! Thanks again, will be back!

our bus blew a tire just outside Saskatoon. The driver Paul kept everyone calm, updated on the issue, got the best man ever to fix the tire, helped out as in teamwork tightening the required tire parts, dealt with the Wi Fi going down, kept the air conditioner going, and parked the bus off the highway on a side road that to him was most important of all. I took it as an unexpected travel adventure and will have a great memory of my two months on the road in 2024.

The driver was friendly, and we arrived at our destination promptly. My only concern was the other passengers. Once I arrived on the bus, it was nowhere to sit. There were a few seats that were empty but other passengers had loaded their luggage blocking the seats. I asked the girl to remove her bags and she didn’t want to do it. So she put her large bag under my seat and I had nowhere to put my legs. I got upset and told her she needs to check her bag to make room for my legs because I am a pain passenger. At that point the driver already started driving while I was not even seated. He should’ve intervened and told the passenger to remove her bags. I had nowhere else to sit. I think there needs to be control over other passengers, and the driver should not have left while I was still waiting for my seat to be emptied. It is unsafe to drive while other passengers are standing. That other passenger took about 15 minutes to sort out her darn bags and even when she did, she was taking room and a half of my seat. It was a very uncomfortable ride for me. Again, your driver should be controlling other passengers, refusing to make room for a pain customer to sit down. Empty seats are not for luggage. They are for paying customers.

Hi my trip was great! As someone who is visually impaired and cant drive I am so thankful! I live in Edmonton but am from SK so love this for an easy commute to visit my family! I do wosh the bus route from lloyd to Edmonton would get me back earlier at like 130pm but hey otherwise perfect!

The ride was comfortable and I felt safe, but when I arrived at my destination, they almost left without giving me my luggage. I stood outside while they handed out everyone else's luggage, but they never gave me mine. It wasn't until they started loading up other luggage to leave that I had to ask for mine. Turned out they put it in a different compartment, but for a brief moment I thought they had lost my stuff.

The trip was fine. The driver was courteous and the experience felt safe. There was confusion surrounding passenger disembarkment at one stop. I recommend they when stops occur that the driver announce them. This didn’t happen so passengers unfamiliar with the area didn’t know when to get off.

Please improve the reliability of your busses. Bus broke down 5 times between Regina and Edmonton, restarted again and caused tremendous delay, so that I have troubles with my Calgary Hotel. Hope that they will keep my reservation.

All was awesome! If I had any complaint it would be wish wifi signal on bus was stronger. Felt like if you were sitting towards the back of the bus the signal was being chewed up by those seated in front of you. Aside from that, I would recommend your services to others!

Bus trip was great on time and the drivers were very polite. I just have one suggestion to make. It would really be nice if the Rider Express sign would be lite up so people could see where to go when people come to pick up. It also would be nice if the office was open until everyone is picked up. It kind of is scary for people to stand in the dark until they are picked up. Just a couple of suggestions. Not complaining at all just so very thankful we have a bus.
